Honestly there are no words to say else than my deepest sympathy and condolences to the beautiful nature and the great individuals that inspired us _humans_ and taught us how to live since the start of humanity on this earth as in return all we have done to these creatures is KILL them.
Welcome to the end! 600 species are leaving ! How disappointing.
Can we reach that level of selfishness!

during last 50 years kuwait lost 8 mammalian species
hilwa make them 9 , we are trying to save our turtels too.. the only species in the whole world is in kuwait!
This is horribly sad :-( but it's not all bad. At least there are humans around who DO care and try to do something about it. Think about the scores of species that were lost before the modern age. At least the turtles have a voice, people like you Judy! :-) The dinosaurs... they had nobody.
Unknown we have a saying which means: one hand wont get the work done ! something like that ..that i can't save this nature alone! its a unity thing. Thank you for understanding.
