I’ve been to a place where they cover some cake with chocolate syrup that is mixed with alcohol – bourbon? - and then light it. Looks great but I haven’t tasted it. The fire is bound to remove all traces of the alcohol.
Anyone care for a fatwa regarding consuming such a delicacy?

I was refering to a fatwa for consuming chocolate with traces of bourbon. I'd have to eat a ton of that just to get a slight buzz, no ;-)
BTW, all sugary snacks contain traces of alcohol.
