First of all, congrats on the new template, more comfortable for the eyes! Although it reminds me of moms room .. eeek!
Second of all, uhh, this needs some time .. let's see..
Potery :: Messy but fun, relaxing & brings the tiny crafty dude (or duda) within. Can be useful when moving to a new house -> you save money on those expensive dishes, mugs, bowls, tissues .. oh wait.
Violen :: I love it. It helps expressing yourself, once you know how to play it. Till then, it's all pain and you might lose family and/or friends !! You can play in a band later on, or in a concert, or do solo's and make CD's. You get the point.

then do you think you have the creative ideas for the pottery , you know it is not just copying things it is more like than a creation of something new ..
where in violin if you master it you can play one of those master pieces wo there is no need for creation you got what i mean ..
Plus you could carry the violin with you anywhere .. but i dont think you could carry all the pottery stuff with you :)
But hey it is not about what is more cool or what is more elegant .. it is where you find your self :) like r you more with music or r you more with working with your hands :) wo tal6ekh 6een wo sowalef :) ..

MBH well i love to work with my hands really really really love it and i always have new ideas i wish in a way or another to build them .
OK so now im more into violin because i love music, i love violin rythm, and i love pottery too but the thing is with violin i can take my stuff and practice in any place but with pottery i will need to have a stable place and at a certain time to work in ya3ny i can't just do a little and then come back later and this is wont work when school starts :)
Another thing is that something i learned is when i start violin younger i might get better chances in being an expert :) while with pottery i can start any time and be expert and have more assosiations to be part of .
So pottery needs more free time while violin i've been learning piano before and it doesnt need lots of time as much as pottery.
I need to decide still, i couldnt find a place for violin yet.
